In the shocking incident just reported on TV and other news media , there has been arrest of Chief Manager of Syndicate Bank named Mr Sambi Reddy and a CBI officer Named Mr S K Jha for seeking a bribe of Rs 1 Lakh from person who was in connection with some fraudulent case.
More report is awaited and will shall be updating the same.
Its another shame and shock for the present young bankers and name of bank and bankers has again been put into stake by the old gaurds of public sector banks. Earlier last year the CMD of Syndicate Bank was arrested by CBI in connection with extension of loan to companies such as Bhusan Steel and later on the Ex CMD was dismissed from the services of Bank.
With wage revision already in limbo and chances of higher wage revision diminishing these even will put an additional break on the better wage settlement for young bankers.
